The Magic Genie

 

Are you the first one in the office, or maybe the last? If you have some time alone, The Magic Genie is a good way to work many parts at once. Cross your legs on your chair to begin. With your hands firmly gripping your armrest, push down to raise your legs and body off the chair. Hold for 15-20 seconds, rest for a minute and repeat as often as you wish.

The Pray Namaste

 

Sit upright in your chair with your feet flat on the floor. Bring your hands together in front of your chest and squeeze your palms together. Hold this for 20 seconds as often as desired, your arms will thank you for it.

The Twinkle Toes

 

There’s no need to memorize any tricky choreography to get your feet moving. All you have to do is tap your toes against the floor as fast as you can for 60 second intervals. This will help keep the blood flowing on days when the only time you stand up is to go to the bathroom.

The Silent Squeeze

 

Want to work on those glutes but not willing to sacrifice your reputation by doing squats in the middle of the office? Not a problem, all you have to do is squeeze the buttocks for 10 seconds as tight as you can, then release. Repeat as much as you like, the more the merrier.

The Book Press

 

Do you have a heavy book around? You have enough to read, use it for the book press! All you have to do to work those triceps is hold the book behind your head, pull your arms up, drop, and repeat.
