Herbal Bubble Baths – Good for the Mind, Body and Soul

Having trouble sleeping? Need to clear your mind? Or just feeling bubbly? This quick guide will help you find an herbal bubble bath for every mood.

Lavender – Sink into the sweet, relaxing sensation of the lavender as you feel it calm and ease any stress or tension of the day.
Oregano – Oregano means, ‘joy of the mountain’, and that joy can be experienced through its fresh and natural aroma.

Sage – Breathe in the lemony, herbal aroma as the Sage clears your energy and mind.

Eucalyptus – Feel like you’re in the great outdoors as you inhale the minty pine aroma and sweet hints of honey.

Ginger – Take a deep breath and allow the spicy, yet sweet smell of ginger in as it helps increase your circulation.

Chamomile – Allow the subtle, yet sweet aroma of chamomile to soothe your body and mind, making bed time after bath time sound like a great idea.

Peppermint – Forget the candy cane, you can enjoy the minty cool aroma of peppermint, calorie-free. Feel the ultimate relaxation as it helps refresh you with a calming sensation.

What to do:

  1. Choose two to four of your favourite herbs or Higgins & Burke Naturals™ teas. We know it’s hard to choose only a few – but do your best!
  2. Fill a large pot with water.
  3. Get ready for a soothing aroma as you put the herbs/teas into the water, bring to a boil and let steep for 15 minutes.
  4. Strain the boiled tea mixture and save the liquid for your bubble bath.
  5. Draw a very warm bath, pour the strained tea into the tub, and breathe in the calming and bubbly aroma.
  6. Hop into the tub and soak in the relaxation!

We recommend lighting some candles and turning off the lights for a little extra relaxation. Throw in some calming music and a good book if you plan on making a night of it!
